Prevent others from peeking in If your phone is on the table, or someone else is holding your phone, incoming apps can be read in the preview. That is of course not always desirable. Fortunately, you can turn this off. You do this via settings > notifications > WhatsApp. There you can turn off the preview of apps completely, or only show them when the phone is unlocked. I chose the latter setting myself.
